The best place in town for sightseeing! The hotel is located 5 min walk from the old town, the souq, and 15 minwalk to the seaside, corniche, and Mia island. It's also easy to walk to the museum of Islamic art, which is a must-see. You wish to be near the old town as that's the nicest part of Doha and buzzing with people, vendors, and great many restaurants and cafés. The hotel room was very big, had a nice seated area and the staff was super polite. We were travelling during Ramadan so room service was really helpful and prices are reasonable. The room was cleaned every day. Also, the hotel is only 10 min walk from the red metro line that goes to the airport. Daily metro pass is 6 Qatari riyal, so that's how little can get you around. Alternatively, Uber is a great option, too - we took Uber when we were leaving and paid 17 Qatari riyal to the airport. I highly recommend this place. Great value for money.

Rooms ambience was very good. Female receptionist was very helpful and all other staff except one young guy who was at reception while I was doing checkout.

Helpful staff. Front office always help for request. Breakfast was tasty. In Ramadan they serve it in room. Inside my room carpet was with visible spots from previous guests. But I think it not possible to remove. Only with carpet. Internet fast. Room quiet. In corridor smell cigarettes. Nevertheless there is notice (not smoke). Some guests are not following it. So when HK clean, door stays open and some smell can come in room. On general it was comfortable. I can recommend.

Wonderful, extremely polite and helpful staff, who are available to help 24/7! Excellent daily house-keeping on my room. Enjoyed the walking distances to Souq Waqif and Msheireb area (both 5min walk), walk to metro is about 10min and to the Corniche St shore about 10min. Otherwise, helpful staff always ordered a car for me upon request! Note: the swimming pool opening hours and gym (these were surprise to me, as I hadnt checked in advance). Towels provided at these. Didn’t test the breakfast, but enjoyed the kettle in the room for Nescafe+Tea and the mini-fridge. Very comfy bed: slept very well here. Stayed for a week at Royal Qatar hotel, and would stay again next time in Doha. Very good value-for-money! Sukhran!

Friendly and helpful staff, good location and nice view from the hotel room. Uber was never more than 1 min away and walking distance to many things

Everything is fine about Royal Qatar Hotel I really like this hotel consider is my first time to visit but everything was perfect,the lobby is large and ambiance The staffs were very professional from my check in there was an Arab lady very professional and welcoming the rooms are large and very comfortable And during check out was very smooth I found a Kenyan lady Gati in reception was also very professional and welcoming hope management will consider this 2 women they're an asset to this hotel for sure I will recommend my friends to ROYAL QATAR HOTEL the place to be ,I forgot to mention house keeping team also they're doing very good job ,any assistance they were there to assist great team and May ALLAH bless all the hotel staff's plus management for the well done job

Very good location. About a 10 minute walk to Souq Waqif station. The Staff are Very friendly and helpful. They allowed me to have a late check out. Rooms clean and neat. There is a set menu for breakfast, not a buffet. Breakfast was good and the order came quickly. I didn't use the gym or pool.

There was a strong shower and close to both the souq watif (5 mins walk) and a short ride to the airport (15 mins). We had a 2am flight and so used it to sleep and shower after spending the afternoon layover at the souq with friends. Very cheap and great location.

Great staff- friendly and very helpful Loved the location - a short walk to the Falcon Souque, many.great restaurants and the ultra clean metro. Qatar is beautiful, very clean and safe.to walk at night. They stored our luggage and allowed late checkout. Small gym & pool.

The hotel room was clean and housekeeping did its job every day. The service was good either: all our requests were met in polite manner. The restaurant was out of service but we enjoyed breakfast for 20 qar delivered straight to our room. Swimming pool and gym were available free of additional charge. Mattresses were very comfortable – I had a perfect sleep this week. Nice location - 10-15 min walk from a metro station and very close to Souq which is one of a few traditional vibing places in Doha.
